John Chanlor's story of living his dream job since age 7, as a deep sea diver, a la early John Wayne movies. Among others he worked with specialty companies hired by British Petroleum, Chevron. etc., in our Gulf as well as off the coast of Scotland and Alaska -- sometime for days at a time in a chamber pressure-ized at the surface for 300 feet or more depth from which he would take 8 hour shifts below. He owes a good bit of his early opportunity to start his own construction and diving business to government support through the 8A program because of his historical family membership in the Choctaw Indian Tribe. His experiences and perhaps near-fatal experiences are gripping.
Hard work and entrepreneurial genes wound up with his and Roxie's retirement here in beautiful Park City.
