Background:
·         Originally from Columbus, OH
·         Graduated from University of Alabama in August, 1987.
·         While in college was employed by Tuscaloosa Steel Corporation.
·         Spent the winter of 87-88 in Aspen, Colorado
·         Returned to Columbus in spring of 1988 and resumed his career in the steel industry with his father’s company, Arlington Steel (a small service center in Columbus, OH)
·         Moved to Salt Lake City in August 1993 with Western Flat Rolled Steel and Processing, division of Schaeffer Industries.  WFRSP was a processor of coils for Geneva Steel
·         He left WFRSP in January 1995 and painted houses in and around Park City.  Started up Jupiter Peak Recycling with Brad Dicks.  Was eventually bought out by Joe Kernan of Good Earth Recycling.
·         Reentered the steel industry with Crest Steel out of Riverside, CA, in August 1996.  Crest is a service center serving the southwestern United States.  They became a division of Reliance Metal Centers.
·         In 1999 he started to look for other avenues and saw an opportunity with laser cutting and started up Wasatch Laser Processing in October 1999.
·         They have become one of the premier laser cutting job shops in the intermountain area and continue to grow.
