Lynton Kaufman
Born in the US of a French mother and American father who succeeded Houdini as President of the Parent Assembly of the Society of American Magicians.
Served two years in the Navy (V-12 program At Cornell) and near the end of WWll, at Great Lakes where he was the bugler at the raising of the colors in the morning and lowering in the evening with 5 Admirals standing at attention before him. Rode around the base on a unicycle which he had made from discarded bicycle parts. Learned to fly in his spare time.
After the war studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and was well acquainted with Les Deux Magots.
First job with RCA servicing as a Field Engineer climbing 1000 ft towers servicing TV transmission antennas.
Later as a young sales engineer with RCA introducing television internationally to the likes of Samosa in Nicaragua, the President Elect of Panama, Emilio Azcarraga of Mexico, the United Arab Republic (consisting at the time of Egypt and Syria), ARAMCO at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, Batista in Cuba, in Venezuela, in Brazil and elsewhere in South America.
Late in 1960s at the Technical Material Corporation in International sales of high frequency transmission of voice communication by telex and telephone
