Colin DeFord is running as the Republican candidate for Summit County Council Seat B in the

November, 2016 election.

Colin is currently on his fifth year of service on the Snyderville Basin Planning Commission, of

which he was a two-term Chairman.

He is an active Park City Rotarian and serves as a Trustee on the Executive Board of Park City

Day School.

He is an Emmy-Award winning Technical Producer for sports and entertainment television.

Born and bred in Dallas, Colin, his wife and two daughters (ages 9 and 11) are now in their ninth

year in Park City.

In rapidly-growing Summit County, Colin feels strongly that his time on the Planning

Commission, as well as the work he’s done in his professional life, will lend itself well to helping

to successfully plan for the future of this community, with a focus on smart and sustainable

growth.
