Born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, I came to Utah when I was 15 to get an education.  A few months ago, right before the Taliban took control of the country, I was in Kabul to bring my father to the US.  Now he is here with me in SLC but my mother and a 19 year-old brother crossed the border into Pakistan two weeks ago.  They are waiting to one day get to their new future home, SLC. I am currently a student at the U of Utah studying finance.
